Hello,
Could you please explain me one thing - how do advertisers take profit from leads? For example, when a visitor sign ups for something free (chocolate, xbox, toilet paper, etc). What will advertiser do with this visitor to get money?
Moreover, I guess that such "freebies lover" will unlikely buy something from advertiser.

A lead is something an advertiser can use. They can sell it to another company, they can use it to send promotional material, etc.

Hi,

Those companies normally include some kind of condition when you sign-up for something free. This normally specifies that you agree to receive promotional messages from the company and/or their partners. The company then either sells, rents or maintains yours and 1000s of other addresses. I don't imagine it's a big margin business, but someone's got to do it ;)

Or they have other offers and co-regs attached to the signup for whatever they offer.
