Unhappy Help from any call wave affiliates

Hello,

I got an email message that was in my commission junction mailbox at their website saying the affiliate bonus incentive program they were using the last several months had ended as of yesterday.

I was wondering if anybody else had received a similar message yesterday or today.

As I mentioned it would be at your account page on the commission junction website.

Thanks very much

Welcome to the forum revemp3!

Yes I got the same message also about Callwave. I made over $800. the first month they ran the bonus program and signups went downhill fast after that probably from saturation.

Mysteriously since CJ switched to their new interface ... I barely get two Callwave signups daily (and coincidently all my other merchant revenue at CJ took a huge nosedive too). That really baffles me...?#!$?

tteenie,

Thanks for your answer, I had a message up a little earlier and no one answered, so I was wondered what happened.

Thanks for your welcome and also to Steve S. who gave me one in my first message.

I can tell you I was really upset about the callwave bonus ending as I was having my best month. I was beginning to think they just sent me a message because I was having a good month.

I can tell you what really improved my signup
rate for callwave, although alot of people are reluctant to do it.

That is opening a seperate window linking right to the call wave site. That would need to be opened in a popup window behind your site or in front of it, which ever you wanted to do. It's best to do a fullscreen
popup, rather than just any size.

You would just put you cj code for call wave as the destination for the popup.

I've known a seperate window leading right into a sponsor would produce better results, but even this surprised me.

By doing this I increased my signup rate 4 to 6 times. In other words, if I had been getting 10 signups a day, I was now getting between 40 and 60. I really couldn't believe it myself.

So if you or anyone else is reading this, it is definitely something to consider. Maybe even more than consider, to try it.

I know there are people who don't want to get involved in the popup thing. My experence has been though, even with multiple popups, they do not bother most poeple.

What does seem to bother more than anything else are exit windows.

If you do a popup it is better to do it when your site loads initially. I have found no difference in the signup rate if the window pops up in front of or in back of your site.

Good luck.

hehe, as a frequent surfer, I must say that I will never have a pop up on my site unless it pays me $5 per time it pops up on anyone's screen, which will never happen! LOL.

I hate those darn things, they are extremely annoying and I don't like closing them every time I go to the main page, ugg...

The worst is when you go to some of these MP3 sites, they're as bad as the porn sites, you go there and click on the "X" and 5 more windows open up in your face. Then as you begin to close the 5, each one of them opens 3 more windows. Before you know it, the whole frickin' Internet is open right on your desktop!

lol.

jonlb,

I love popups. Grrr..eat. If I didn't use them I would be making 20% of what I am now.

You do have a price then. You would use them if you could make the right amount. Either you like them or you don't, except.

If you read what I wrote, right now you could be making 4 to 6 times the amount you are making with callwave, if you use call wave. That is just as good a $5 a hit.

I have seen a couple mp3 sites that are worse than adult sites. They go to full screen locks, which is totally ridiculous, then with multiple popups. They'll never keep their advertisers.

As I say, I have found only a small percentage of people who really don't like popups. If you're offering someone something worthwhile on the popup, people will be glad you did it.

Question

Hope you guys may help me....
I applied to the CallWay Aff.pr. at CJ, but I realized that it was not open to non-USA sites AFTER I downloaded the program to my computer for testing. I cannot get rid of it since then. It opens the little window whenever I switch on my PC. I can x it out, but still disturbing.

Do you know how to uninstall Adwave from your computer? Please help. Thks. Andrea
