Unhappy Best mailing list software

Howdy guys! Got a quick question (Gosh, this has to be like my 4th question in as many days)
I plan on starting up a mailing list soon. My mailing list will consist of a few seperate mailings that will be mailed to only a few select users (who chose to be sent this information), and I would like to have the ability to send an email to all my users, even if they are signed up for different mailings.

Got me http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif Probably not...

SO my question is, what is the best software for this. CGIResources has an overwhelming selection of software for this, so it would be greatly appreciated if I could get your guys' opinion different mailing list software.

Thanks in advance!
Oh yeah, I'm on UNIX

Sorry this post sliped through the cracks

I might be wrong but I've never seen a script that would let you blast/mail all the subs to various lists in one click.

This could also be dangerous.

Some solutions:

1) Free at http://bignosebird.com/cgi.shtml

I have never used this one but since his other scripts are so great I'm assuming this one is also.

2) I use this $199 script. Very very powerfull. Multiple lists would be a copy and paste of your email from one list to the other and click send. Perhaps 5 seconds total since the mail send routine is "cached" and you get the screen back at once.

You may also want to consider using a service like Topica to send your mailings, Topica is free and is awesome for me.. If you want, you can even choose to show ads in your mailings, which you get paid for, here is the url: http://www.topica.com

take care

Advertisers shy away from newsletters that use free delivery services.

Is that due to spam/abuse or just to look nice?
