Post Tera-Byte Giving Problems! Need Help!

Hello,
Recently I transferred my website (www.bollywood1.com) to tera-byte.com's hosting. Before I transferred I made the mistake of not asking them if they fully supported SSI and if my site, which has a lot of SSI coding, would run perfectly in the current condition that it is in.
Well, after my site was fully transferred and all the files uploaded I say that none of my SSI coding was working. After Email tera-byte I found out that I would have to change all my file to .shtml in order for the SSI to work.
Now that is a problem for me since all my links and 100's of files are in .html format.
What I needed to know was if there was a way that I could change all my .html files to .shtml files and change the links on the page.
Please help me out

i have a dedicated raq3 with them and their service and support are great

for your problem all you have to do is in the root directory of your site

create a file named .htaccess and put in it

AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .html
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .htm

that will enable SSI for html and htm files

tera-byte's support is good and i have just signed-up with their plan 4 http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

as for ssi, i think only forsite.com allows ssi without having to rename to .shtml. one of my site with forsite has 600+ pages and is using ssi with .html http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

anyway singloon suggestion of the .htaccess is a great idea ... going to use that with my new site as well http://geekvillage.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
