Default Email a Page / Image to a Friend

I need a script or some website that offers a program for me to be able to have "Email this Picture to a Friend" sorta thing. I've been looking on for some website that can do this or has a script to offer but I can't find any. I know they're out there, but it's a very hard thing to search for - you know what I mean - I start getting search results not relevant, so I make the search more specific and I end up getting no results. Very frustrating.

So if you guys know of anything like this, PLEASE tell me!

Thanks

I use SuperTAF.com now, but before I got accepted by them I was using a cgi script from BigNoseBird.com with good results. Here's the link to the script:

Thanks but,

I don't have CGI and I don't need a Tell-a-Friend. I need something which could just be a simple text link saying "Send this Image to a Friend." As in, it's gotta email the image.

Default Email A friend

I will host it on my server, in exchange for the bandwidth i would want a co-reg box or two on the form. I think this is reasonable.
Email me if your interested.
Thanks

You can try using one of the third party services like bravenet.com, or you might want to try one of the javascript ones at hotscripts.com.

Don't even get me started with Bravenet! Bravenet is the most annoying, crappiest webmaster service. Sure, they got lots of good things, and a huge variety, but they have so much branding and the overall presentation of tool looks visually unapealing.

Thanks for the suggestions though

Hey Exclaimnet,

Out of curiosity, why do you want to email the picture directly, rather than provide a URL to a web page with the inlined picture? I would imagine that your goal is to improve your site's hit ratings, by drawing in new traffic.

If it's a matter of bandwidth, you're probably going to have to pay that too, if you're doing any volume. That's because sending email, while it seems free, still consumes bandwidth, and if you do any volume, you're going to get hit up by your ISP. I.e., don't think that by emailing the picture directly, you'll get out of having to pay the bandwidth charge of hosting the page.

By sending a URL to a page on your site rather than by sending the picture by email, you would be able to add banner ads, etc. with no problems. Plus, you'll be creating new incoming traffic, rather than just giving content to existing traffic.
If that were the case, than tell a friend services would be perfect -- we have one, Mailbits has one, as does SuperTAF. The bonus with that is you get paid for usage too.

Just my two cents!

Well that wasn't really the issue.

Whether it could email the picture, or send a link to the image, it doesn't really matter.

What does matter is that I don't want it to have much branding. I want it to be simple - Just have a link under the name of the picture (Click here to see what I mean)

I just want the text to say (just regular text):
Send this to a friend!

I did go to Mailbits, but the whole thing looked kinda confusing, but I'll check it out again.
