Unhappy ISSUE: PG Banners on Porn Sites.

I'm under age yes, 16. But i've got a question. My partner, which is 21 said this when we were running the CashCommunity.com ad network.

" Why don't advertiser's want to place their ads on porn sites. The people that visit those sites are as normal as the people that visit geek/talk, yahoo.com, excite.com and all the other non-porn sites. They are the same people that buy products that are being advertised and are also interested in whatever is being advertised aswell. "

I find this very interesting. I understand not seeing porn banners on a PG rated site, because anyone under age can be see it. But people over 18 years of age aren't allowed to see PG rated banners on porn sites?

What do you all think?

I can understand it to a certain extent advertisers don't want their "good" product associated with the "smut" displayed on pr0n sites.

As far as target audience I think pr0n sites are great. Masculine audience, who are used to buying things online ... exactly the prototype many sites want.

And also, I think pr0n site publishers have better ads that PG ads - there are great advertisers for pr0n sites.

Have a great day,

(pardon the pr0n, it has become a nasty habit http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif)
