Unhappy Euniverse Proposal

I've just gotten a contract/proposal from Euniverse. Has anyone on this board been targetted by them? Essentially, their offer goes like this:

- $2.25 Guaranteed CPM
- Half of THEIR CPM in holiday times when their CPM bursts up to $10 (which I get $5 CPM instead of the $2.25)
- Free Hosting
- 2 Year Contract
- 10 million impressions delivered per month

If you've ever had any experience with Euniverse, please get back to me and give me some info on how reliable they are etc. Thanks in advance.

I don't think Plasticman.org is the type of Anime that's on your site is singloon.

His is pornography, and yours is in the rated G category.

My Hentai site is not included within my network and as of right now, it's separate and I only own 50% of it. Euniverse wants the network/emulation/gaming music.

I'm not sure on my currentl average page views per visitor. In my experience so far, it is around 5-10 pages viewed per visitor or even more. But I would say a minimum of 10 million impressions/page views can be delivered per month.

Question

Hi

I dont understand what they mean by 10 million impressions delivered per month..does it mean they will guarantee you delivery of 10 million ads on your site per month?

Plasticman:
First of all, i have been a big fan of your site since it was straight emulation. I'm not surprised that euniverse has offered to acquire you. They have been acquiring quite a few people i know recently. For instance, Don of www.funone.com and Christian of www.justsaywow.com and even joe who posts on this board once in a while.
From what I've heard of the others' contracts is they were offered a minimum monthly salary. I'd assume that when they guarantee you a set CPM and a set # of impresssions, you basically are guaranteed a set income every month, and more as your site grows (they promote it for you). You probably already know all this, but what you may be interested to know is that everybody i've heard of is very pleased with them. They basically own your site for two years, and from what i've heard they make you take down your links. However, you may be an exception since your site is one big conglomerated network.
Just my thoughts, hope that helps.

Well nowhere in the contract does it say that I'm actually selling my site to them. All I'm doing is becoming part of their affiliate ad network in which I'm receiving ad revenue, not salary. So I think that may be a difference.

I hear they pay you even though they promote you through the network too. Like 70% paid ads and 30% network ads (which get paid like the 70% too).

I got the contract sent out to me today which I will most likely sign and get back to them and start next month. Thanks for your help.

I too am about to be contracted by them for a guaranteed minimum amount per month.

I have done some research on them and I have heard nothing but good things about them. I own a greetings/funpage site and they offer the tools to help my site grow such as mailing list service, fast hosting, and thier tell-a-friend service which is actually way superior to mailbits because its only 1 form and no annoying popups!!!

I look forward to hosting my site with them
