My experience with goto.com is that it all depends on the keywords you choose.
I've tried less popular keywords (because they are cheap!
http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif ) and have not recieved any traffic from them.
With popular (and expensive) key words (30+ cents) I do get traffic however. My conclusion is: goto.com is making all the money!
