Seems ebay is down for maintenance so maybe you should edit your post and include the details listed here (http://www.geekvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13500)

While as with all site sales, it's "buyer beware", you should note that from the statistics made available, this site seems to get nearly all its traffic from various top sites lists. So if you strip the very annoying popup windows off, my *guess* is that the traffic will plummet as you'll no longer be getting the clicks that are driving return traffic.

I could not see any sign of search engine traffic at all.

Anyway, I encourage any potential buyer to look over the "Referral" stats very carefully before reaching a decision.

Without the HitBox password it is only possible to see referring domains and not the referring urls which I would also want to see before I considered bidding on this one.

The traffic levels seem to match what was quoted but I also share Edwin's concern about the TopList traffic.

Thanks for your input on the site concerned.

If I'm allowed I'd like to state that many sites of this genre get the majority of traffic from TopSites.

Although popups are indeed annoying, I would estimate that 90% of wallpaper sites use them for extra traffic and so far I have had no negative feedback from the visitors concerning them.

You are correct regarding the low search engine traffic, I am however receiving hits each day from various Google searches which looks promising.

Again thanks for the comments, hopefully this post is allowed, I'm not trying to gain attention, just clarifying your doubts.
