I am quite keen on getting a pop-up banner going on my site. I have at least 1,000 uniques per day so an extra $2 or $3 per day would be very helpfull. My members actually want me to add it http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Anyway, i would go for popuptraffic.com of course. I did actually sign up with them some months ago but they are not accepting new publishers and didn't answer my email about it so i guess SI is out of the question.

Where else. Been looking round net-ads very useful! and some look really unprofessional companies. Does anyone have any experience with ones that have actually paid, ie this month sort of thing? Would be really grateful for any experience people have had.

Welcome to Geek/Talk, padders http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Although I may be repeating names that you've already heard alsewhere, the following popup/popunder programs have paid members recently, and have established positive track records.

1. FastClick - brilliant popunder range, with ability to deselect undesirable campaigns. Expect $1.20-$2 Net CPM.
2. PopupSponsor - now offers a single popup option for $3CPM
3. GoClick - $2.50CPM base rate, with rights reserved to reduce this rate for under-performing publishers.

There are also a few CPA options available, such as the email subscription popups from Focalex, the ClickThruTraffic popups, Websponsors.com's PopupNation.

Standouts in the exit console scene are ExitFuel and AffiliateTarget.

I have had the most luck with Fastclick. They use pop-behinds which in my view are much less annoying to your visitors than pop-ups. I am currently getting about 2.00 CPM from them.

I have noticed that fastclick is even providing pop-behinds to ezboard.com

<!-- FASTCLICK.COM NETWORK POP-UNDER v1.8 for EZ Board -->
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript"><!--
{ /* 2001 Fastclick.com All Rights Reserved.*/

// start options block
var myURL='http://media.fastclick.net/w/click.here?gid=377&v=1.8';
var myDomain=''; // domain of site ex. "mydomain.com" [optional]
var myWidth='720';
var myHeight='300';
var myDelay='0'; // pop-under delay in seconds
var myMinTimeOut='10080'; // pop-under frequency specified in minutes
var myCookieChk='yes'; // yes(check if cookies enabled) or no
// end options block

var dc=document;
var dt=new Date();
var cck=myCookieChk;
var bust=dt.getSeconds()+dt.getMinutes()*100+dc.locati on.href.length;
myURL+='&buster='+bust;
if(dc.domain.indexOf(myDomain)==-1){
myDomain='';
**
if(cck=='yes'){
dc.cookie='h2=o; path=/;';

var ck=dc.cookie;
var id=ck.indexOf('yum_yum');

Thanks everyone, i will loook into these. I wanted to use fastclick but they don't allow advertising on forums apparently, ironic if they are sponsoring ezboard.

Thanks

ok, i am going to try popupsponsor.com - i can't find the $3 anywhere, is just says $5. Also no information about what is counted, ie time per ip address and things like that. An idea?

The $3CPM option is mentioned only within the administrative area. Once you bcome a member, then, you'll have access to the stats, code and rules regarding this.

Good question about the unique IP count. I had just assumed that it was 1 unique/24-hours, but couldn't find any mention of this within the site's FAQ or terms. Can anyone else here verify or challenge this?

I talk by phone to Lawrence at popupsponsors a lot. (he also runs targetwords.com)

It is uniques per 24 hours.

The $3CPM is the type2 banner and is the single popup. It does not cookie-out, so people will get it everytime. I use it as an exit console.

The $5CPM popup is a stream of consoles that can only be disabled by killing the iconized parent in the Windows tray.

Popupsponsors has one drawback.. (this caused Outlaw to stop using them).. they only show stats per 24 hours.. they are compiled just after midnite US Pacific time.

On the PLUS side, once you meet their minimum payout, they deliver checks right on schedule.
