Hello everyone.

Today, tomorrow, and probably for the remainder of the year we will see poor PPC rates. Generally I see nothing more then 20 cents per click. Mind you 20 cents is offly good at time like this, but the chances of getting 20 cents are worse then 1% if you run an entertainment site.

A more realistic rate for me and probably most entertainment sites would be about 7 cents per click I believe. What I am looking for is a PPC program that I could insert into a newsletter, 5 cents would keep me satisfied. Allclicks.com is as close as I can get with a 3 cents per click, but maybe I can get a bit more if I target the traffic and keep the email link less deceiving.

I aslo found Freeyankee.com, but unfortunately they deleted me once I started using them in my newsletter. Any ideas?

Bulkclicks is another SI property that pays 4c for text links. sponsorships.net has a 7c link you can use in a newsletter.

Don't all SI programs discard traffic from email, to prevent spamming? This could keep you from using Bulkclicks.

Have you tried the Advertising.com Newsletter Network? They have quite a few high paying CPC & CPA advertisers. I just looked and they even have CPC advertisers for $.25/click, and the minimum I saw was $.15/click - These are pretty good rates and as I said, they have quite a few advertisers so it's probably worth giving them a shot. - http://nn.advertising.com/

Good luck! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks zMan. Those rates look incredibly attractive. Too bad it was advertising.com were talking about. My humor site does not have a hope in this world to get in there. Never the less I will try though.

Advertising.com's Newsletter Network is a seperate program, so I am guessing you'll have better luck getting into the network as it has nothing to do with websites - just newsletters. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Good luck!

Good call zMan. I am in. They accepted me this mourning. The program looks outstanding except for one thing, the stats. I sent out my newsletter earlier today, and when I checked my stats 4 hours later, it still said NO RESULTS. I would think they track in real time, but obviously they don't. Does anyone know how long it takes them to update the reports??

It varies. The one thing to watch is the daily emails they send publishers, campaigns can terminate well before the end date. I learned the hard way - clicks that generated zero revenue due to expired campaigns.

Hmm, well what program do you currently use for your newsletter advertisements? As far as I see, it looks like the campaigns I used are still in business. So I have no clue why the stats are saying nill. Any answers?

Hi,

Congrats. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

About the stats, sorry I have no clue as I have never used them even though I am an active member. Maybe they update the stats Daily, and not in real-time? You may want to give 'em a call tomorrow at 877-835-6699 and confirm if you still don't see any stats update.

Good luck & let us know what happens!

I've switched to websponsors for email. The stats do update pretty close to realtime for advertising.com. I honestly don't know why you're seeing 0 clicks.

Good news. The stats updated, but not as good as I would think they would be. It has only produced around 30 clicks when I ussually do about 100 by now. I am kinda iffy on the stats, but I think they may be having some recording difficulties. I will keep you updated.
