Although this news will not impress too many Geek/Talkers, due to the declining credibility of both companies involved, it is nonetheless significant news for the online entertainment community:

Any thoughts?

We have a saying here ... the deaf helps the blind - that's exactly what this is in my opinion

Nicely put. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Do you think UGO will see any upside as a result of this transaction, or do you see this as a desperate move by Bla-Bla to sellout before going belly-up, while UGO makes a dirt-cheap acquisition purely to attain more numbers to make their own network more attractive to investors (on the surface)?

UGO's already way too bloated. This just bloats them more. UGO should save its money to have a prayer of breaking even.

The question now becomes: what happens to Bla-Bla affiliates? Are they paid the same 25 cents per million impressions we've all heard about, or are they given agreements with UGO that impact all existing UGO affiliates negatively? Even if the latter helps Bla-Bla's credibility, it certainly doesn't do UGO any favors.
