What are some affiliate programs that you're in from networks like Commission Junction, BeFree, and OnResponse, that work best [ in terms of click / signup ratio, and overall profitability ].

So far for me, T-Shirt News, YesFree, and Club Regal Casino at CJ work best, and BMGMusic at OnResponse.

Anyone care to share any of their best performing affiliate programs?

eBay's been producing for me of late. Take a look at this page ...

http://www.geekbooks.com/walden/plans.html

It's highly topical. I'd like to point people *specifically* at the auction keywords as mentioned, as that would likely boost conversions.

FWIW, I signed up for them with becentral, just before they rolled out the cj program ... otherwise, I'd be looking at a check by now.

Cheers,
Dan

eWorld Casino, FreeYankee and FreeCondoms.com and Jackpot.com (all through CJ) should also perform well on your site, ch3m.

I use the above to great success on my free stuff sites.

I made $3 CPM with newsletter ads for
TheBirthdayGame.com a couple of months ago.

Tried again a few days ago, and made $1.5 CPM (with same ad, same pay-out, different newsletter and new people).

Maybe everyone who's interested in sweepstakes are already on their list ;-)

I also used to make $400 CPM(!!!) with Pollit.com before they decreased their pay-out. I'm mostly saying that last part there to brag; while the CPM was high, I certainly didn't become rich. :-)

I sent traffic through an "enter/click here" page that got extremely targeted type-in hits.

(Which goes to show how valuable type-in hits are compared to any other traffic :-)

edit: Oh, and both sponsors mentioned above are on CJ.
