I am wanting to put "how to" videos (approximately 3-10 minutes long) on my website. I have two questions:
1. Can anyone recommend what equipment or software I should get to make good quality videos? I plan on recording them and editing them myself. Currently I have a Sony DCR-SX44 handycam and have played with video in Windows Movie Maker. Is there a better software to use for video editing?
2. Is there a good microphone or sound capturing device I should be using? I figure I'll use the sound from when I'm recording video but also may want to do voice overs later in editing the video.
I appreciate any advice as I am completely new to all this. Thank you.
