I have a question for you gurus. My husband and I designed our own web site for my new company via Go Daddy. I've been very pleased with their service and support. Out of ignorance, I accepted a free credit to change my website from http to https. Hated it! Didn't need it, so asked to be moved back to http. Web site down 36 hours while this "relocation" occured. At the moment we went down, Google picked us up for the first time. AAUUUGGHH. No one to blame but myself for that one. However, now that we are back up and back on the http server, all the links on Google still show us at the https address. So they go nowhere. My question (yes, there is a question here): what in the heck can I do about this? How long will it be before Google notices and correctly points to our site? I went on their Webmaster and uploaded all again. I (foolishly) hoped it didn't matter (https vs http) but it does and here I sit, with a link to nowhere.
