Now, I'm not the world's biggest Microsoft fan, but the European Commission really seems to have something against the Redmond giant. Their latest order seems to take things a little too far; with the potential to confuse consumers while crippling Microsoft's ability to bundle free software with Windows in the future.
Determining that Microsoft unfairly increased its web browser market share by including Internet Explorer pre-installed as part of the Windows operating system, the EC is calling for Microsoft and PC makers to give consumers the choice of web browser when purchasing a new PC.

What do you think? Is the EC punishing Microsoft unfairly, or should the software giant give consumers greater choice in their pre-installed web browser selection?
