My domain name expired this past week without me realizing it. It was registered through 000domains. Because of Internic's(or whoever it is) delay in releasing domain names, it shows it as still registered to me....HOWEVER...I can't renew the name through 000domains because they say the domain isn't registered with them!

How can I renew my name????

Thanks!

Go through their tech support again and if they can't help you then see if you can talk to someone higher on the food chain at the registrar than the tech support guy and see if they can help you.

It should show up as still registered at Whois services such as Netsol's (http://www.netsol) or Register.com's (http://www.register.com), throw that in their faces. Those are updated, I believe, every day.

It likely is registered in the old 000domains.com system. Try this link: https://resellers.000domains.com/cgi-bin/SRSmanage.cgi

I would act fast also, not to ad panic here, but Redemption Period i quite expensive, form like 120 to 250 depending on the registrar :(

Is it a .com or something else? As the rules are different for different country extensions.

Its not always that expensive, I recently re-registered 2 .com domains about a week late, my domains company made me renew for two years and it was a little more expensive, but still only in the region of 20 a year.

You could get lucky, though. I've re-registered expired domains through both GoDaddy and 000Domains without paying a penny above their respective standard renewal rates.

Best of luck.
