Program Used to Create Images

Hi all! I am creating a new gaming site. Which Graphics program would you recommend to make images fo my site? Thanks!

Graphics! I can't function on a computer unless I know there is a copy of Adobe Photoshop on it -- granted it's a very pricey program. Another great, rather new program for making graphics, tailored specifically for the web, is Macromedia Fireworks. Used next to Dreamweaver, Fireworks is incredible! Good luck.
