I'm trying to purchase goods to resell as mail order company with my Delaware company, wholesalers are asking me Reseller ID and reseller permit but I can't find any information about these items.
Are these the same of the business license for Retailer, General ? Any other legal advice to run a mail order business it's appreciated. |

A Reseller ID is usually used to identify yourself as exempt from sales tax for items you plan to resell and to report sales tax on items you sell. This probably is not the same as a business license for Retailer, General in your state. Look on your state's web site for more information on how to obtain one. It likely will be listed as a Reseller ID. Other places to check are your local library or state's office for dealing with corporations.
