The domain change may not have fully propogated.
Nothing will cure that except a bit more time. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/frown.gif |

Same problem here. Damn propagation.
Since many of us seem to have very little patience when faced with such an attractive proposition http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif, is it possible to post the relevant details somewhere on SICtalk (BETA test forum perhaps?), so as to avoid bounced emails? ------------------ Czar |

We're going to wait till tomorrow to send out the info.
If the mail is still having problems we'll set up a form for everyone to use. |

The anticipation is killing us (ok, it's killing me).
I for one, cannot wait to see what the wizards have cooked up for us this time. Quote:

For those who are trying to e-mail SI but cannot due to stale DNS information:
The correct IP address of the machine that serves Standard Internet's mail appears to be 209.50.252.101. So, set the outgoing SMTP server on your e-mail client to 209.50.252.101. Then e-mail tlbeta@standardinternet.com and it should go through. (Make sure to change your outgoing SMTP server back to its original setting when you're done!) If you're using pine or something on UNIX, then telnet 209.50.252.101 25 and use the MAIL FROM/RCPT TO commands. http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif |
