My only dissappointment with safe-audit, was that they require you to submit the URL that each banner will be served on. Well I have hundreds of pages that use an #include method for the banner (so I don't have to modify each page individually). So, it's not feasible for me to submit each URL that will serve their banners. I understand their reasoning (to help prevent fraud). But it just won't work for me. I explained this and inquired. They responded within a couple of days, politely explaining that they could understand problem, but could not bend this requirement.

I also found their selection to be pretty slim. However, that was a few months ago. They might have beefed up their client list by now.

Still slim pickings, I'm afraid. Most of the advertisers presently supported by Safe will be familiar to even those who haven't used the company for years (Xara 3D, TwistedHumor, etc.)

Personally, I use them only for the Casino on Net and Xara 3D cost-per-click graphics. Using them in such a limited fashion (which is more-or-less a requirement since each banner can be shown on a maximum of five pages) makes it possible to simple remove the SSI include or ad server code from the page best suited to that banner, to replace this with the Safe code.

* Missing stats (after 1999 March to 2000 September - Poor tracking)
* Trustworthy on payment
* Limited offers for publishers
* Stats server was located on Microsoft's server in 1998-1999.
