I've got a "rocketlinks.com" CPM campaign bringing in a CTR of 15.05% -has anyone seen what they're currently running? Must be some sort of punch the whatever banner.

They use those generic message boxes.

These are the two banners in the current "Bay9.com" campaign at Burst. I think you should be able to view them without logging in.
http://www.burstmedia.com/release/getgif.asp?id=15718 http://www.burstmedia.com/release/getgif.asp?id=15719 They are currently paying $0.5 CPM, which for most Burst members means $0.25 CPM net. When I have run these and similar campaigns in the past, I've had a CTR well over 5%, which translates to less than $0.005 (½ cent) per click with the new rates. Wly, they've made a buy via ad networks. Mine is coming through Engage. Are they the ones running that strobe-like flashing "Free Plane Tickets" banner, I wonder? |

My question is, can we take some of these generic 'Message Waiting' or 'Error' banners and then link them to SI's Allclicks? At $0.03 per click, a 15% + conversion rate may translate into a decent return.

Welcome to Geek/Talk Creative Reality http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif
In theory, IP law protects all banner designs from being copied and used elsewhere without permission. In this case, though, where the banners are so generic, it would be quite easy to modify them slightly in order to make them your own, without degrading their performance. (Just look at the similarity between the high CTR banners used by eWorld Casino, Casino-On-Net and Club Regal Casino for an example of this). ------------------ Czar |
