Unhappy Eads no longer accepting new host sites...

Hi,

seemes like Eads is no longer accepting new host sites...a friend of mine received this automatic e-mail reply when he signed up...

"Thank you for showing interest in the eAds Network.

Many of our competitors run non-paying banners on their hostsites to avoid
any costs of being undersold. Others do not accept smaller sites or have
a very high minimum check amount while some never pay their hostsites
anything at all. eAds has avoided these tricks and pays for the clicks.

eAds is the oldest interactive media provider on the Internet and values its
hostsites. Unlike our competitors, eAds has always paid its hostsites on
the 20th of each month for 100% of their clicks, even accounts with balances
as low as $10. Because of our long term relationship and consistent fair
treatment of the hostsites, we are confident you will understand these
challenges and work with us through these changes in the Internet
advertising market.

We are sorry to inform you that eAds is not accepting new sites of this type
at this time. Hopefully, this is only temporary and we will continue to
monitor the situation and notify you as things in the industry improve.

If you believe your site generates more than 250,000 unique impressions per
month, please email us at bizdev@eads.com for further negotiations."

It sounds like eads got sick of hosting tiny sites that cheated their click throughs and now only wants to cater to new bigger sites that actually bring some revenue.

Yeah...but it's kinda strange, because they don't ask you how many visitors you have etc. when you sign up, you just receive that e-mail claiming that your site is no good. Kinda funny http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif I think they should at least ask how many visitors you have (upon registration), and then they could decide wether they want you or not.

That email from EADS says:
"We are sorry to inform you that eAds is not accepting new sites of this type
at this time."

Although they go on to talk about numbers of page views, the rejection could be due to the content of the site as well.

What sort of site was it?

sdarken: It was an MP3 site, and I know that they might have restrictions against that. But I tried to sign up www.microsoft.com, and received the same e-mail within 5 seconds http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif So they're simply not accepting new hosts trough their registration form.
