The use of mobile devices to surf the web is growing at an astronomical pace, but unfortunately much of the web isn't optimized for those mobile devices. Mobile devices are often constrained by display size and require a different approach to how content is laid out on screen.

Responsive Web design is an approach whereby a designer creates a Web page that “responds to” or resizes itself depending on the type of device it is being seen through. That could be an oversize desktop computer monitor, a laptop, a 10-inch tablet, a 7-inch tablet, or a 4-inch smartphone screen.

Responsive Web design is the approach that suggests that design and development should respond to the userís behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. As the user switches from their laptop to iPad, the website should automatically switch to accommodate for resolution, image size and scripting abilities.

Hi,

Sensitive layout is often a site development approach that will utilizes the complete web site variable, variable graphics and advertising questions towards cascading down model sheet. With regards to the look would work for constructing webpages that will find this dimensions and inclination on the display as well as the customer to improve this format as a result.

Thanks and Regards

It's an approach that suggests that design and development should respond to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation. The practice consists of a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and an intelligent use of CSS media queries. As the user switches from their laptop to iPad, the website should automatically switch to accommodate for resolution, image size and scripting abilities. In other words, the website should have the technology to automatically respond to the user’s preferences. This would eliminate the need for a different design and development phase for each new gadget on the market.

A good answer to the question asking about responsive web design. In simple responsive web design is creating a website which fits in the screen without bounds to the screen resolution. So same website is enough for users visiting the website using desktop PCs, laptops, netbooks, Smartphones, tabs etc. If you go further you will understand the concepts of fluid design which purely based on percentages rather than pixels and bootstrap technology etc.

Responsive web designs are recommendable now as per present trends because google is now giving more preference to mobile friendly websites.

Responsive web designs are adjusted to any device such as desktop, laptop, tablet and even mobile. There is no need of creating again separate web site for mobile users.
