KHN,

Two part question.

First, you need an image to start with, preferably a gif or jpeg. I use I use Corel WEB Photo for creating graphics from scratch.

Although there are many shareware programs, Lview is a popular graphics viewer and editor that I've used quite a bit.

Second , once you've created, or aquired the static image, you need to animate it. ULEAD is a program I use for animations. Quick, cheap, and easy.

You can go to ULeads's web site (www.ulead.com), and check out alot of their cool tools.

While I highly recommend Ulead utilities, For other options check out Stroud's reviews of graphic viewers and editors.

I have PhotoShop will that work?

As far as I know Adobe PhotoShop is somewhat the equivalent of Corel PhotoPaint, and there are many "editions" of it out there, like the high octane power users version and some scaled down models, (much like PhotoPaint.)
While it is a very good graphics creation tool, the last time I actually looked at PhotoShop it didn't have the ability to create animations.

I'll follow up when I have some time to look into it.
