• Bad Titles
• Filename of the page
• Duplicate or Bad Content
• No Links
• Incoming link anchor text
• Bad Internal Page Links
• Keyword selection
• Keyword Spamming and Stuffing

Some of the most common SEO mistakes are listed below with their possible Solutions:
Do Not Stuff Your Keyword tag with Keywords
Use the Description tag to Describe Your Page and Stoke Interest
Using a flash website that does not contain HTML
Using Java Script Menus
Do not forget Consistency and Maintenance
Hidden text
Bad neighborhoods
Do not use only images for your headline
Avoid backlink spamming
Avoid targeting the wrong keywords

Ignoring the Title tag

Leaving the <title> tag empty is also very common. This is one of the most important places to have a keyword, because not only does it help you in optimization but the text in your <title> tag shows in the search results as your page title.
