Rupert Murdoch's media behemoth is once again attempting to crack the Chinese market - this time by capturing a share of the Chinese online display advertising market via an investment.

Specifically, News Corp is throwing cash in the direction of a promising startup named AdChina, as this article indicates:

With Chinese online advertising still growing at a rapid clip, this is clearly an important market, but as Google's foray with Baidu indicates, it's also not an easy market to enter. How do you think News Corp will go?

the funny thing, having read so many of these news coming out of that country, i am still skeptical abt it...

if a non-chinese company starts taking over their market, will the company sit back and do nothing? i doubt it... while they need/allow investment, i guess it will come at a price...

maybe partnering with a chinese firm for a very long time is the only way? maybe when the chinese govt changes and the new one brings in more of a radical policy?

i am not sure...
