I think adding in the backend sales is one of the important business principal, which will increase sales and also help monetize

I always try to cross sale, upsale or downsale my traffic

what do you think and how are you doing your conversions now?

Making use of all of your virtual real estate is important. But it is also important not to overdue the upsells or downsells. If your potential customer is bombarded with offer after offer before he gets to what he is actually interested in, he may give up and leave without seeing what he came to see. When you set up a system of offers, change your frame of mind, become the customer and go thru it to see how it flows. You don't want it to seem tedious.
