For the record why doesn't everyone list their top 3 programs. No discussion, just the 3 you would recommend first.

Teknosurf is my number one program, then Value Click. My third would have to go with Trellian Software.

No can do

The one's I'd recommend aren't the ones I'm making most money on - because (a) I strongly believe my site is unusual (I concentrate on selling stuff rather than giving away freebies), and (b) I have a special deal with one program.

For the record my top earners are Beyond & Amazon.

I expect most people would do better with ClickTrade, Websponsors, Teknosurf or Utrade all of which are also good for me.

My sites are targetted to two very different audiences, one for webmasters and one for everyone, but on the whole I've found some level of success with:

ValueClick
Teknosurf
Uproar (games)
Clicktrade

Hi all.

Can you include your URLs? I'd like to visit your sites.

Denny, I went to reporting.net, and it's secure log-on page, with no links to a general area. What is the home page URL?

Personally, I don't have favorites. Yet. Because I haven't targeted sales on my site. I am impressed with Pulse, Beyond, and belong to Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as a couple small affiliates.

One small affiliate through Revenue Avenue reports, in my status reports, "insufficient funds." Is this common? My earnings to date are a few pennies, so I'm not worried. But.

two more questions:

1) I noticed the attractive Post-It logo ad on this page, and went to its home page. Does "very-cool-stuff" offer an affiliate program?

2) Do affiliate programs pay for referrals to the program itself? E.g., if I were to advertise Amazon's affiliate program, would Amazon pay me for those who sign-up via my link?

Hi,

Susan- About the Amazon question- most companies that I am aware of use third party tracking and payment to manage their click/affiliate programs. This also would answer what reporting.net is. They are a third party which tracks clicks and signups, and when payment is due, collects it from their clients, takes a commision, and remails the checks to us. Hope this helps.

About reporting.net's main page, I dont think they actually have one. You can signup with their programs by visiting their clients pages and look for a link that may somthing like "Affiliate Program".
