Arrow AdSense performance - down compared to last year?

This is a quick poll designed to help determine how your AdSense eCPM rates stack up against those from the same time last year.

Obviously, AdSense's terms of service prohibits the disclosure of detailed revenue and performance figures, so for your own protection, please don't make any specific references to current eCPM or cost-per-click rates within this thread. That said, if you were with AdSense last year and remain active with the program, please participate in this poll to give our members an indication of current eCPM trends.

THE CRITERIA:
1. This poll is to compare eCPM performance only, not total revenue. If your overall results are up in comparison to last year, but your effective CPM has dropped, please choose the 'YES..." option.
2. This poll compares figures from September 05 and September 06 only.
3. This poll opens today and will remain open until October 15.

Thanks in advance!

eCPM for Sep '06 is about 75% of what it was in Sep '05. I have seen a significant drop in eCPM this month though, so my average eCPM for the entire year is probably a fair bit higher than 2005.

Mine has roughly tripled over last year's numbers. Part of that (most of it, probably) can be attributed to me optimizing my pages for Adsense. And there's still a lot more that I can improve, I'm sure.

Thanks for your response, trabaho, but to avoid confusion, please start a new thread to discuss ValueClick Media's performance.

for me yes, but it is mostly because i bought sites during this time frame which convert very well with adsense.

but if u take my main site alone, i dont see much of a change.

Mine is up over last year. That helps me to continue to really be pleased with AdSense.

I am about 100% higher. Better content = better eCPM from what I have found with them. I use them carefully and have been for the most part happy with them.

My ecpm went up a lot, but mostly not because Adsense, but rather because a change in traffic.

Mine was up 130% at 14 days, at 24 days a little over 100%. I'll give the full result at the end of the month for more accuracy. I wasn't looking at percentage difference at 14 days, just seeing if it was lower or higher.

I might add that I have another site added since last year and that may reflect a difference, as I see the ads on the new site are more targetted than what I have seen before.
