Default Refer a friend an HTML email

Hi, does anyone know how to refer a friend from a website. The friend needs to directly receive an html email not an email with a link they click on.
I have searched and searched for code (pref PHP) but the only ones I found go through other websites. I am concerned over spam arising from this method (any comments?)
Thanks

Hi Jay

Ah, no. It needs to display a webpage within the email page. As if you are receiving an HTML email, only it has come from a refer a friend link on a website.
Let me know if this makes sense. Thanks.

If I understand correctly, most email supports html encoding in the email. Its simply a MIME type header in the email. Do a search for 'PHP html email' and you should find plenty of examples.

I can find a php script for that I think. If I am sure of what you are talking about. Please clarify a little.
