Anybody ever heard of SpecificMedia.com - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

Hi, new here, I am researching www.specificmedia.com verses other online ad networks.

Met with them on Monday, their online media network promises a very high (over 90%) demographic targeting based on anonomous cookie behavior.

Anybody have any experience or comments about SpecificMedia or their competiors?

I haven't used them personally, but the fact that the service is operated by Steve Carter (a true pioneer in the online advertising field, and an all-round good good guy

) bodes well for those publishers who do take a punt with them.

I am wondering if we are talking about the same Specific Media. I could not find mention of Steve Carter anywhere on www.specificmedia.com

I did shoot an email to Steve on GeekTalk PM, no response yet.

Yes, PaulS, it is the same Specific Media. You are talking about www.specific.media.com and the Steve Carter associated with it is the Geek/Talk member.

Steve Carter hasn't posted for a while, so he may not check his private messages. So I'm giving you a link to a thread that shows this is the same Specific Media as well as showing an e-mail address at Specific Media at which you can write to Steve Carter.
