In this thread http://www.geekvillage.com/forums/sh...threadid=28411 I posted about the findings of web metrics firm NetApplications last month that said Firefox was losing ground to Internet Explorer.
Now this month, another web metrics firm is saying the momentum has slowed for Firefox. There is a trend here and it looks as if Firefox isn't going to achieve their goal of 10% share of the market by the end of this year. The biggest problem facing Firefox is that most of their support has come from the technical crowd and they have made about as much progress within this group as they can. They need to get more of the mainstream general public interested and most of them really see no reason to switch from their present browsers, which in most cases is Internet Explorer. http://informationweek.com/story/sho...leID=171201547 |
