Anybody know where I can get a free Html editor for a PC. I would like to be able to make mass changes quickly. I have experience using BBEdit on a Mac. I like its ability to change all pages in a directory at once. Is there something similar to it I can get free for a PC?

Try http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0...0.html?tag=dir and find one there.
I use FrontPage 2000 myself, but unless you have the money for it... |

I would suggest to go to www.tucows.com and try some out.
I personally like to use the combination of EditPlus, EditPad, and CuteHTML. They have all there pro's and cons. ------------------ Westerhof.Dot.Org Karen Mulder try out. |

My two personal favorites are HTML-Kit and Max HTML Beauty. I tend to use HTML-Kit more now, because of all the plug-in functionality available. Both are freeware.

I just found a really neat little program with which you can make CSS templates, just by point and clicking what you want.
You just select for which kind of browser the style should be and select the element and just click in the styles. It's called TopStyle 2.0. It was attached to the installation of the HomeSite Demo version, but it's probably also 'downloadable' separate from it. NoteTab Pro is my choice for making fast changes.
It also lets you do search and replace for numberous docs, keyword analysis for single page, and it has a free version. Chazhound Find tons of Html Editors: http://www.FreeReports.net/html_editors.html |
