Default LinkShare problems

If you are a LinkShare affiliate you very well might be experiencing some problems.

LinkShare has been making some changes that they say will make things better for affiliates, but some whale-size problems have been created as a result.

Even though you are already an affiliate you have to go through their new verification system which seems to have bugs and tells you things are wrong when they aren't and you can't get access to your account.

Only a fraction of the actual earnings are showing in some of the reports.

Checks have been delayed for some people while others have received checks that are much smaller than they should be.

Things could be a lot better.

I haven't kept up with the LinkShare changes.

Is this the transition that is supposed to see affiliate earnings from multiple programs consolidate into a unified payment and bring the network more in line with the standards maintained by CJ and other affiliate marketplaces?

Yes, that's the one. But it looks as if everything that could go wrong is going wrong.

Yeah, I get a verification error after going through the process that claims my information does not verify?! I don't know what they are trying to verify and with who but my address and social security number are both correct so something is not working right on their end. The error message continues on to say that until I am verified I will not be paid but they told me in an email that I will and that error message is outdated.

Welcome back, John. It's certainly been a while.

My re-registration seemed to go through OK.

The payment history stats are behind.

But, a few days ago, I got my first consolidated (earnings from multiple merchants) cheque.

Interestingly, it was mailed from California, and not from the usual New York area.
