In an effort to establish a global brand that is better representative of the company's intent to become a full-suite service provider for the online marketing industry, FindWhat (most famous for its pay-for-performance search service of the same name) will shortly rebrand itself to Miva.
Interestingly, Miva is a brand already associated with the company; one subsidiary of FindWhat being the operation that produces the Miva Merchant line of e-commerce facilitation software. FindWhat acquired Miva last year during a buying spree that also saw the company pick up the European pay-for-performance giant ESpotting, as well as former spyware peddler Comet Systems.
FindWhat's ticker symbol will change as the rebranding effort goes public and the company will embark on an extensive marketing campaign to showcase itself as an independent technology partner for web publishers and online advertisers.
