Anybody know how to determine foriegn traffic instantly based on the IP. Fast enough so you can dynamically show whichever page you want based on US/nonUS traffic. I know PPC can tell if the traffic is foreign, so there must be a quick way.

there is a great free GeoIP solution. you can pay for higher accuracy if you need it.

That is the database which is used for geotargetting ads with phpadsnew too.

Yep, you can either use the Maxmind database with phpAdsNew, or knock a quick scriptwhich will query the database and drop in the required page.

Great for splitting traffic for the networks by dropping in the highest paying/preferred network code for the country.

This, in some ways, could be seen as a free alternative to MaxMind's commercial option in that it endeavours to offer an ever-present updated geoIP file for use in statistical and targeting applications.
