Today marks an exciting step forward for the Geek/Talk community with the birth of a new, and incredibly timely, forum at:

As internet penetration rates increase in non-US markets, the proportion of the online audience that is comprised of US residents continues to diminish. Given this, and the reality that most of the mainstream networks discussed here on a daily basis either enforce or encourage the delivery of their ads primarily to US web users, opportunities abound for each and every one of us to assume leadership roles in a number of exciting new markets.

No longer is monetizing one's international traffic a simple matter of sending 5-10% of a site's banner inventory to some obscure third-tier network. Geotargeting, regional sales offices and a booming market of niche geographically-focused networks and affiliate programs has made it possible to extract optimal results from the delivery of regionally-oriented campaigns to appropriate audiences.

This NEW FORUM is designed to assist the Geek/Talk community in wading through the various opportunities and pitfalls presented by the global market.
