Question mysql overload?

i have installed a php/mysql chat script and expected to have a round the most 150 visiotrs using the chat ... the script is relatively small and has only few very simple features, thus it wouldn't overload the cpu time ... however, what i am wondering is that the script uses mysql to store the chat messages, therefore will my mysql be overloaded maybe like a year later? or will it clear the history(previous messages) automatically? what should/can i do to prevent overloading of my mysql?

thanks in avance for your reply http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif
