I personally see them as a waste, I would rather get paid to show popups then exchange traffic. With the money I would purchase real advertising campaigns instead of using popups.

Many popup exchanges are flooded with people that take advantage of them and generate false popups. In some cases your popup gets shown to no one. I can't comment on the programs the people above have mentioned but I compare them to banner exchanges.... 80% of the time worthless but if you find a good one it could help if you have enough traffic.

iwinweekly, in your point, all exchange programs are ineffective, right?

80% are.... the ones that are taken care of, where they weed out the people abusing it. Then they may be effective depending on how much traffic you have. But even then I would rather get paid for the popups and pay for an advertising campaign that does not use popups else where.

Most people these days have popup blockers, and if your target is webmasters you can bet 90% do as well. The ones that don't probably are not your market.
