Help removing installed pop up generator - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this so if it isn't, mods kindly move it.

Anyway, I need help removing 2 programs by n-CASE that were automatically installed in my computer. I've tried uninstalling them but no success. These are Interstitial Ad Delivery by n-CASE and Pad Lookups by n-CASE. All of a sudden, I started getting multiple pop ups on start up and even on sites that I know don't have them. My homepage has been altered to a search engine site as well.

Please help as this is driving me nuts already. Thanks.

Have you tried running LavaSoft's Ad-Aware to remove the software?

I'm not sure whether n-CASE is covered, but it's worth a shot.

If that doesn't get it all, try spybot, that appears to have been used successfully in some cases where adaware didn't do the trick.
