Default Google SEO problems, please help!

Hello Everyone,

I am new here, this is my first post. This is my problem. I own a gift basket website. I have been online for the past 6 months and I'm having trouble with PR on Google and most other search engines.

I've submitted to ODP several times over the months and not listed yet. I've paid the $299 to Yahoo and right now depend on CPC for and hits I get. I can't afford to keep doing this. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm no webmaster, just read books on optimization and thought I was doing things right. I designed my site with a template based program from an e-commerce vendor. They are no help so far.

Do I need a site re-do or do I need to start over with someone new? I don't really know who to turn to for help, since I know only the basics about coding. I don't want to be ripped off, since I'm a home based business and have a small budget. I've advertised on Elance for an SEO expert, but don't know who to even pick!

Am I allowed to put the name of my site on these posts? Its chelseaandcompany .com

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Michele

Hi,

You have some pretty long dynamic urls which most search engines have problems with.

Has google spidered your entire site? I saw your main page listed in google but no others. Have a look in your logs

While you are there look and see where the other spiders have been able to go.

I would suggest using mod_rewrite to mush away those variables and get google to start going through it.
