Default hyperlink title tag keywords help?

Does using a title in your hyperlink tag (like below) help your SE/Google rankings?

<a href="http://www.your-url.com" title="descriptive keywords">other descriptive keywords</a>

In my opinion it couldn't hurt (unless you got silly and stuffed 50 keywords in there). On the other hand almost nobody uses a title tag in a link so I doubt Google would value it very highly. I doubt you would see a noticeable difference in your rank from using this technique.

Disagree - Sites with standards-compliant HTML who are concerned about accessability requirements will use link titles effectively. The title should give a consise and accurate description of what the user can expect from clicking on a link. It is very useful for visitors to 'mousover' and see the title text in order to decide whether the target page is relevant for them.

I'm a little <a href="teapots.html" title="Learn more about teapots and various types of tea">teapot</a> short and <a href="stout.html" title "Information about black Irish beer">stout</a>
so I doubt Google would value it very highly.
Google does not value it highly but does value it to an extent. Note that the effect is for the target page in the same way as for alt tags in images.
