Hi rickswav,

IMO, I think the overall design is clean and direct, somewhat masculine looking colors - I like it! "But" I don't think you need to announce on your main entry page "An 800x600 resolution is recommended for this site" afterall, do you want them to leave if they don't have that? Why would they need it for visiting a .wav site? Possibly because of the moving bars that are displayed on the following pages? I personally think the moving bars are highly distracting and somewhat a navigational hindrance. Maybe you can adjust it so that they moved only once upon page load and stopped in a fixed position, it would be more tolerable, but other than being decorative they seem to serve no purpose and may just annoy visitors to the point they won't bookmark or return. Don't get me wrong, I like movement & I use lots of it... (Just an idea, I could imagine seeing rickswav.com as your text logo in .gif format with the letters animated, creating a smooth wavy motion with a short delayed sequence between loops).

Your domain name implies it to be a WAV site but I was puzzled upon 2nd page entry to see an unexpected Email Login Box taking up 1/2 the page. My first assumption was that you had to be a member to download or listen to any of the wavs. Directly under it you have text, "Welcome to RicksWav.com! The best place to surf for wavs on the net!" I think that should be placed that at the top of page maybe next to rickswav.com. To avoid confusion, you might want to add text near the Login Box letting people know that you are also offering your visitors a Free Email Service... Keep your traffic coming back http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif
