Can .wavs & .mid play simultaneously in IE5.5? - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

Hi guys,

This seems ridiculous but after recently downloading the IE 5.5 now sounds won't play together at the same time like they used to. Is there some setting I am overlooking or is this not possible to do any longer with this version of IE now? Any info appreciated, thanks! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

Note: I found the problem from Macromedia's site support! It was "Quick Time" causing the problem. After uninstalling it, sounds played simultaneously again. Yeah!

The real question is: will your sound card be able to play both simultaneously? Lots of older sound cards aren't capable of playing more then 1 sound at a time....of course all recent ones can no problem.
