Fastclick InVue Ads.... - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

Just looking for an update on what everyone thingk of them. I was thinking about implementing them on my site.

I was wondering, however, if it's worth it. Do visitors leave in droves? (I still don't really like the idea that they pop up in front of content, which is the main reason why I've resisted placing InVue on my site.)

Any comments?

I implemented them temporarily to test the user response. The result: I received a dozen emails asking to take them down. I would definitely suggest that you do a similar test before implementing InVues.

It appears that fastclick popunders pay at least twice as much factoring in sell through percentages in comparison to invues which are more intrusive. Are invues worth running for half as much money as popunders for twice as much aggravation? Thats the real question, and I have no idea why the payouts are still so low on this highly intrusive format that visitors can't miss and can't close before it loads or they have read it. For me to even consider running them I would need at least a 2 cpm net and very high sell through percentage.

That's been my question, as well....how could a popup bring in so little cash?

I guess I won't be running InVue for a while....
