This is a warning message from Rackspace Technical Support informing you
of a potential security risk. We have determined that your server is being
portscanned from a remote location. A portscan is usually an attempt by a
hacker to determin what OS and what version of the OS is running on your
server. He can then utilize any exploits he can find for your particular OS
against you. As far as we can determine, the scans came from this network:

Domain of Remote Server: cei.net
IP address of Remote Server: 204.180.118.102

We suggest you contact this server's administrator and inform him of
the activity directed at your server. To get the admin's email address,
go to http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois and type in the
domain name. Under the Administrative Contact section, you should find the
email address you are looking for. Be sure to give him the IP address of
the server that scanned you in your email.

Please note that Network Solutions only handles domains with the .com,
.net, .org, and .edu extensions. For any other domains, you will need to
go to http://www.alldomains.com for your contact information.

If you would like complete information on port scanning activity you
can check your log files at /var/log/portsentry/portsentry.history. Please
keep in mind many of the entries in portsentry.history may not be
malicious attacks on your server. We are only emailing you concerning
continuous suspicious activity.

As always, let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Thanks,
Rackspace Customer Support
