I am currently using Overture(GoTo), FindWhat, and Sprinks, with as many keyword bids as I can think of (and trying to keep the individual bid amounts down.)
Now, I am looking for other PPC engines. My sites are mostly on fairly competitive keywords, and are entirely supported by CPM/CPC/CPA advertising (mostly CPA.) Each site is on a focussed topic with tightly targeted ads. I would like to start with maybe US$100/month per engine, and try 1-5 different engines (in addition to the ones that I am already using.) Any suggestions? Thanks in advance... |

I certainly haven't used every PPCSE (especially after all of these new ones have popped up), but here's the ones I have used with my overall feeling of their traffic and conversion:
Overture: Very high traffic, Above Average Conversion Google AdWords Select: Very high traffic, Incredibe Conversions FindWhat: Above Average Traffic, Average Conversions Search123: Slightly Above Average Traffic, Average Conversions Sprinks: Average Traffic, Average Conversions Xuppa (Bay9, rocketlinks): Average Traffic, Average Conversions Kanoodle: Average Traffic, Average Conversions E-Pilot: Average Traffic, Average Conversions 7Search: Low Traffic, Average Conversions NetFlip: Average Traffic, Below Average Conversions SearchCactus: High traffic, Near non-existant conversions I'd recommend all of the above except Netflip and Search Cactus. |

411web.com has twice solicited me via telephone to open an account with them. Is this common?
Has anyone had any experience with them in terms of amount of traffic and conversion rates? They are offering a low price (10 cents for first palce) on a search term which is several dollars for the top three positions on Overture. |

Yes, I get contacted on what feels like a daily basis through the phone from PPCSEs. While I've never had experience with 411web.com, usually I just stick with the more well known ones. I just checked out payperclicksearchengines.com and see they have over 340 search engines listed. While I may try to slowly look into some others, most all of those 340 engines will not even be able to send enough traffic to pay for their required deposit. And of course, the traffic may not be productive.
So, I just try to work with about 10 well known ones and just keep up to date on if a lesser known one starts to become popular. |
