Unhappy Run SSI in an non-SSI server by parsing (Fake SSI)

- Do you know how can I make Server Side Include Parsing?? They are CGI scripts which emulate Server Side Include capabilities.

I have referred to many sites that are about the SSI parsing and the file fakessi.pl . But I failed to set it in my server.
http://www.steffwatkins.co.uk/WebTools/fakessi.shtml

- What are the requirements to do the SSI parsing? PS: I cannot edit the httpd.conf file but I can edit the .htaccess file!!

- What are the difference between real SSI support and the Fake SSI?? What are the drawbacks and limitations of Fake SSI??

- Finally, do you know any FREE web server that support SSI?? or allow the use of Fake SSI??

Thanks a million!!

Unhappy

This file will give you REAL SSI not fake

Create a file with notepad and call it ".htaccess" and put this code inside it and upload it to your root directory

AddHandler server-parsed .htm
AddHandler server-parsed .html
AddHandler server-parsed .whatever
