Amazon Build-A-Link - where is option to change color palette? - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

I'd ask this on the Amazon forums but they stink and keep timing out... so, on the main Amazon Associates page it says

You can now customize the colors of Amazon.com Recommends links to match your Web site! Just go to the Build-A-Link section of Associates Central and select the color palette that best matches your Web site. Then simply copy the html code into the appropriate place of your html and you'll have your own customized Amazon.com Recommends link.

...I looked all over the place for this and I don't see an option for it anywhere.. am I blind?

No, you're not blind. You probably just gave up in frustration before you go to that part.

Log into your Amazon account.

1. Click "Build A Link"
2. Click the "Build Some" button under Keyword Links
3. Select the product type from the drop-down box.
4. Enter your keyword(s)
5. Click the "Build It" button
6. Decide what to do about the option regarding displaying the price of the item.
7. Click the "Build It" button under the ad type you prefer.

You're now on the Custom Options page where you can select the background, text and link colors.

Strangely enough there are no options for customization if you choose "Your Bestsellers" Links....

It's there for the keywords, it appends

&bg1=000000&fc1=ffffff&lc1=A5DE94

where bg1=background / fc1=foreground / c1 = link (colors)...

I tried appending that to the link given in the best sellers section but no color change...

I'll email them. :P thanks.
